Earlbeck Gases & Technologies celebrates 100 Years

Earlbeck Gases & Technologies, a Mid-Atlantic welding supply and gas distributor based in Baltimore, is celebrating its 100 year anniversary.

Earlbeck Gases dates back to 1919, when it when it was formed as the T.A. Canty Company, a wholesale welding products distributorship. It has been owned and operated by the Earlbeck family since 1952.

Earlbeck Gases got into the education market in the late 1950s when Earlbeck began providing its customers with technical support and customer education through one-on-one training and seminars. Training operations formalised in the 1960s with two booths to teach customers how to operate purchased equipment. 

The company’s mission has been to provide education and products that support manufacturing in the US. Manufacturing creates wealth for the nation, provides employment for many, and creates products that change the world.

The company sincerely thanks everyone who has helped them reach this milestone and looks forward to another 100 happy years.
