China and Indonesia have reached a significant agreement to collaborate on the development of a comprehensive gases industry supply chain

On July 22, 2024, Mr. Xu Xin, the president of China IG Member Alliance(CIGMA) was invited to conduct an online meeting with Mr. Rachmat Harsono, the president of the Indonesian Industrial Gas Association and chairman of SAMATOR.

Both parties have reached a significant consensus on collaboratively establishing a comprehensive gas industry chain linking China and Indonesia. They are committed to enhancing cooperation across various domains including seawater hydrogen production, helium extraction from LNG, and carbon captureand storage(CCS) within their respective gas sectors.In pursuit of this objective, they have mutually agreed to co-host 'IG Indonesia2024,' showcasing technology advancements in Indonesian gases applications alongside ' Forum and Panel Discussion on Mutual Construction of IG SupplyChain between Indonesia and China' as well as 'China-Indonesia Hydrogen Industry Development Forum' among other specialized forums scheduled for September 25-26th in Jakarta. Booth sales for exhibitions are underway while arrangements for inviting distinguished guests and speakers for these specialized forums are progressing systematically. Furthermore, both parties have consented to signing a memorandum of understanding aimed at advancing supply chain development within their respective gas industries during this event held in Jakarta.
